It Begins in House
Location: OKAYOK Studio
All design development and proprietary fits are developed in the OKAYOK studio. Our process is slow and studied. Our suite of industrial sewing machines are geared towards lifestyle apparel manufacturing and small batches of garments are sewn in house.
Graphics & Surface Design
Location: OKAYOK Studio
All our prints and graphics are designed in house and applied to the garments by us. Our surface designs are created with heat transfer vinyl and other mediums. Allover prints are created right on the garment: laid out by hand and applied with precision and rigorous attention to quality.
Fabric Sourcing & Garment Manufacturing
Location: Toronto Area
Custom made 100% cotton jersey and fleece textiles are sourced from a Toronto area knitting mill. We seek overstock and deadstock fabrics from local mills and manufacturers. Designing with what’s available in our local radius is part of our creative process.
The OKAYOK Canadian supply chain has taken years to develop, with many ups and downs. We have preferred relationships with a network of manufacturers in the Toronto area.
Sock Manufacturing
Location: Brampton, ON
A manufacturing relationship going back to 2016, our socks are made on non-computerized, antique sock knitting machines. These machines give OKAYOK socks their low tech, vintage quality.
Our socks are often made with rare deadstock natural fibre yarns. These yarns have been sourced from the sock factory's own archive, and manufacturing yarns purchased from a Toronto sweater factory that closed in 2025.
All melange yarns for our thick cotton and wool sock styles are developed and twisted in the OKAYOK studio.
