FAQs
How long does a project take?
Most people can make a tote bag within an hour, some people can finish two or more projects in an hour. The heat pressing takes less than a minute so the rest of the time is yours to use for design.
Do I have to know anything about vinyl or a heat press?
No. We will provide instruction and will check your work along the way to ensure a quality result. You'll be using scissors to cut the vinyl and we will take care of all heat pressing during the class.
What can I print on?
The material needs to be able to withstand high heat and pressure. Cotton and other natural fibers work well, and some synthetics like polyester can be printed on. Buttons, snaps, zippers, seams, and existing prints may all affect the outcome. You can bring in your tees and loungewear, denim jeans, textiles, pillow covers, and more. We do not have the equipment to print on hats. You're welcome to reach out with questions or bring a few options to the class.
