Triadic Laine Sweatshirt
Description
Inspired by the Triadic Ballet. A stack of geometric shapes in primary tones teeter on each other. And yes, the face pareidolia is intentional.
Our Fall 2023 collection takes inspiration from Bauhaus, a design movement and school in Germany from 1919-1933. During that time Bauhaus professor Oskar Schlemmer created and toured the Triadisches Ballett (Triadic Ballet). The avant garde costumes were made to be 'geometric representations of the human body'. A performance of the ballet from 1970 can be viewed here and it if you have a moment, it is worth taking a look at this astounding creation. Remember that it was created over 100 years ago!
The Laine Sweatshirt is designed for women and has a dropped shoulder, a shorter length, and a polished fit. Model has a 33" bust, 28" waist and 40" hips and she is wearing a size small. Larger sizes may want to size up for more room in the tummy area.
